    Thanks everyone, we appreciate you continuing to share your feedback on automating Super calculations for under-18s who work more than 30 hours a week. We understand how accounting for this 30-hour threshold would reduce manual adjustments during pay runs.

    Our product team has been reviewing this idea as part of their roadmap planning, however at this stage it isn't on our immediate roadmap.

    For now, this idea will remain Accepted and will continue to be evaluated as the team plans future Payroll improvements. We’ll be sure to share an update here if there is any progress.

    Xero, this is a vital feature to help businesses ensure they are compliant with the super rules!

    Currently, a warning shows in the payroll when not adding super contributions when an employee is over 18 - which is great.

    HOWEVER,

    There is no warning if the employee is under 18, but more than 30 hours have been entered in the payslip. We need it to simply show an alert like it does when they are OVER 18.

    Or, it needs to automatically calculate super (or not calculate it) based on the hours worked for an under 18 year old.
