Hi team, we appreciate the on-going support and feedback we're receiving on this idea and pleased to be able to share this update. Our product team are actively exploring how we can best solve for the needs raised here, although at this time are unable to provide any set timeframes.

They are very much aware of the appetite from our community on this, and as part of their exploration have reached out some users here as they gather insights.

For the time being we'll shift to In discovery and I'll return as soon as there is more on this to share.

Yeah, this is sad and could truly be the end for a lot of customers using your service, including myself. I've been a customer for over a decade.

All of us are trying to get paid by our clients, and since Yahoo and Gmail made authentication a requirement early in 2024, we can't get paid if our emails end up in our clients spam folders.

I understand its complicated but putting the burden on us to notify our clients, and then have our clients pay an IT person to add the domain to their safe senders list is unprofessional and inconvenient.

Since this is closed we might as well start recommending some other services that are comparable to Xero. Anybody have any recommendations of where to move to?

Surprised since the Google and Yahoo updates this hasn't become a top priority. Being able to utilize a branded sending domain or custom domain so it appears from your business is critical these days. I think the biggest thing holding this back is both platform limitations/resources required, and the fact that Xero would have to partner with a larger company already doing this right like Mailgun or Sendgrid. Consider this my vote for a more compliant email delivery option for invoices.
