Appreciate wanting this within the individual bill and through creation, Ruth. We'll track interest of this here,
As a solve for right now, you can jump across to the Awaiting Payment tab and select the Bills you'd like to assign a planned date too you'll see the Action for 'Add planned date' turn blue and you can use this to bulk assign a plan to date to multiple bills at once 🙂
If you're not sure which bills you've assigned a planned date too, you can click the plan Planned date header to sort all bills without a date assigned.

Thanks for starting this idea! Did you see last week that our Product Team released an update that helps speed things up on Xero Me Mobile? They’ve enabled the ability to copy previous time entries in start-end timesheets on a per day basis. To do this, enter your time entries as usual for the first day in your timesheet, and then select the “copy from [date]” option when adding a new time entry for a consecutive day.
The team are interested in further exploring improvements in this area, but at this stage there are no firm plans to progress this idea. They’ve got their eyes on the ground though - closely monitoring your ideas, votes and comments.An error occurred while saving the comment Gary Lyon

It would be useful if Xero Me used the "hours" that are entered on the employee record in the Pay Template section for its default working hours. Currently Xero Me defaults to 8 hrs per day (40 hr week) when most places are working 7 hrs 36 mins per day (38 hr week).

Every time I enter a bill for an expense item, I want to schedule the payment of it, to match with the weekly payments we do. To do this I have to get out of the Bill Entry Screen and go to the Waiting Payments Screen and find the relevant supplier. Being able to enter the schedule date at the same time the bill is entered is a no brainer for me and would be great functionality.
