Hi community, we really appreciate your feedback on this and hearing why you'd like to be able to change the organisation's name that's shown when sending invoices from Xero.
This is on our teams radar, and is something they may look into longer term however we want to be open that it's not in the current roadmap.
We'll continue to track and keep across the interest from our community, and if there's any news to share we'll update you on this, here.

Currently when emailing an invoice the Legal Name is included in the invoice email. Please change that to be the Display Name - the point of the display name is that is the name our customers see versus the legal name. I am unable to email invoices because of this. Urgent and important.

As stated above, this is a key feature for doing businesses with larger companies. Please implement ASAP. It eliminates the possibility of using the reminder completely.

If Xero is going to cater to businesses, there has to be the ability to use the trading name on invoices. This is a fundamental of invoicing - not sure how this even went live without that ability.
