Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest in being able to add dates to individual lines of an invoice. Currently our team are focused on improvements to new invoicing and we want to be upfront we don't have any plans for adding a date column to the details grid within an invoice atm.
Right now if you do require dates for individual line items we'd recommend adding these within the Description field of the line.
We will continue to review this as we continue to evolve the product. If there are any updates or changes, we'll share this all with you through the idea here. Thanks

Hi everyone, we appreciate your input and sharing detail of how you'd like to see this developed to help suit the needs of your business.
We want to upfront that we don't have plans for developing this in the next year. However looking further out to the future, our teams will continue to review and consider how they might build inventory in Xero to cater for units of measure.
If you're after an immediate solution, it might be worth exploring connected apps that can integrate with Xero and cater for your business needs. As soon as there's any change or news around this to share we'll be sure to update our community and all of your interested in this, here.Peter Collen

Hi team, we'd like to share another update as work for allowing direct wage payments via open banking with Crezco is well underway.
We look forward to updating everyone on this idea as soon as this is released.
As previously mentioned - we want to be upfront that we don't have any plans for extending the payment file export format to CSV, however direct payments will eliminate the need for a manual export saving you a few steps in this process. 🙂

This needs to be implemented, they have overhauled invoicing and I assumed this would be one of the things they would put in.
Also, allow more columns in the invoices to add further desciption, docket number, date, reference number for each line .
