    Hi everyone, thanks for continuing to share the details behind your workflows here. We wanted to return with a meaningful step forward for this idea. As some users may have seen, we’ve released the ability to request a Deposit in Xero!

    Enveloped in this we recently made an improvement to this so businesses can now set a specific due date when creating a new deposit, and that due date is shown clearly on the deposit request your customer receives.

    We appreciate this doesn’t yet deliver the fuller outcome many of you describe here, such as multiple due dates across a full invoice, broader instalment-style payment schedules, or trade-term arrangements on a single invoice. But it's progress in this space.

    I’ll be back to confirm once Deposits is completely released to all markets and share how we plan to evolve this further.

    We have a client who invoices for festival pitches and requires a deposit and then a final payment. He would find it easier to send one invoice with two different due dates to save raising two invoices. If he puts both amounts on one invoice his clients get chased for the final amount even though it is not due until closer to the time of the event.

    Hello everyone, we want to let you know that we’ve recently released the ability to convert PDF bank statements into pre-formatted CSV files in Xero (Read more on our blog for more information).

    Currently, this feature is only available in the US and Canada. We know this tool will also be valuable to other regions and we'll be sure to update you with any new information about it becoming available globally.

    For now, we’ll move the status of this idea to ‘Under review’. So keep voting and give us your input on how this feature can benefit your workflow!
