Great suggestion! Some time ago we undertook the painstaking task of completing a major clean-up of our contacts removing duplicates and then linking the one client to all relevant entities Client profiles. This was hugely time consuming without the ability to merge !!!

This was working well and so much easier to maintain contacts, however with the introduction of the new “Client as a contact” with Beta. we now have loads of duplicates!!!

It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to merge these new "client as contacts" with the existing "additional contact" that is already linked to the appropriate entities, so we can maintain a single, consolidated contact record. That said it is going to be really important that Xero works with software and app providers to update Api's as currently the "new client as contacts" does not sync across.
