Hi everyone, further to our last post I wanted to provide another update for our US customers as we now have a bill payments solution powered by Melio! While we value our partnership with BILL, we decided that acquiring Melio was the right strategic move to accelerate our ability to provide a seamless, integrated payments solution within Xero for our US customers. Powered by Melio, you can securely pay bills online, directly from Xero.
As previously shared in the UK customers can now pay overseas suppliers easier with international bill payments, saving the need to use multiple platforms and savings in fees. Whether you're paying a single bill or multiple bills at once.

Hi everyone, we appreciate your detailed feedback on how default tracking options for inventory items would improve your use of Xero. Atm, it’s possible to set default tracking on a Contact, however do understand why this isn’t suitable for all of you.
At this stage there’s no set plans to develop tracking in Xero inventory.
This is something we may consider in the longer term and we’ll continue to monitor votes and your feedback. We’ll update here if there’s any progress.

How many comments and votes does it take to get an idea to the development stage and implemented?
Adding tracking categories to item set-up for item inventory would save us SO much time and manual input. I find it really hard to believe that its not already there and that this hasn't yet been sorted.
Alternatively, having Xero 'guess' tracking categories for invoices in the same way it currently 'guesses' account codes based on frequent use would be a big step forward from current situation. We need to add two tracking category options to every line on each invoice so this adds up to a lot of time as some invoices have as many as 20 lines.
