Following up to see if there is any update on this feature request. This feels like a relatively simple function that could save a significant amount of time for many teams.

Within our business, multiple team members create invoices across different areas. Being able to trigger a notification to the invoice creator when payment is received would be extremely valuable.

In one part of our business in particular, orders cannot move forward until payment has been received. That team manages a high volume of invoices at any given time. While we ask customers to notify us once payment has been made, this does not always happen, which can delay orders and create frustration on both sides.

Without payment notifications, our team is forced to manually check invoice statuses throughout the day to see whether payment has come in. This is a major time sink, especially with the volume of invoices we process daily.

A paid-invoice notification would significantly improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and help teams act on orders more quickly once payment is received.

This seems like a very straight forward feature to have. Given that it is such a basic feature, I was very surprised to see that not only does it not exist, there have been requests for over 11 years and it STILL doesn't exist.

We need a way for the creator of an invoice to be notified once payment has been completed. Would be great to see this as a check box option upon order creation, or as a setting to turn on the notification. Seems pretty straightforward to me.
