    Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback on pre-tax deductions for salary sacrifice schemes like WorkRide. We appreciate you sharing how you’re currently managing these.

    Currently you can achieve the result of a pre-tax deduction in Xero payroll by using a Discretionary Payment category pay item and entering the deduction amount as a negative figure. Gross earnings are effectively reduced, eliminating the need for PAYE adjustments.

    We recognise that this workaround may not be a perfect fit for all schemes. While this feature is not yet on our immediate roadmap, we have updated its status to Accepted. This ensures it is flagged for formal consideration by our product team during future planning cycles. We'll keep you updated as things progress and value your continued input.

    Help! I can't seem to find a clear process on how to enter transactions for the Workride Pre-Tax Scheme. I have received an invoice from Workride Inclusive of GST. Should the cost be coded to an expense or liability account. I can't seem to enter a negative amount in the discretionary pay item either. How do I account for the GST portion from the fortnightly deduction. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    Hi everyone, we know that consolidated reporting for multiple Xero organisations is a feature many of you are invested in, and we appreciate you continuing to share your feedback and insights on this idea.

    We hear that you need a more streamlined way to manage group budgeting, produce consolidated Profit and Loss reports, and handle intercompany transactions without the need for manual exports and external spreadsheets. 

    For those looking for solutions right now - As shared by others there are Xero app partners that possibly serve these and wider needs, and you can explore on our Xero App store. 

    We want to be transparent about the current state of this idea. While we continuously evaluate all ideas, work on developing consolidated reporting is not currently planned.

    We need this also, it is so time consuming having consolidate all the reports manually. Maybe I should invoice Xero for my time each month for having to do this manually.
