Hi everyone, we're looking into this idea as part of research our teams are doing on managing employees, particularly looking at our customer's experiences onboarding new hires and setting them up in payroll.
Knowing the interest from our community in this here, we wanted to share an opportunity to get involved.
If you'd be willing to take part, our teams will be scheduling sessions which will be about 60 minutes via video call.
You can share your interest by taking a few minutes to fill in this form ✍️ - We really appreciate your time.
Thanks, and I'll make sure to share any outcomes from this discovery back with you all here.

YES!!! This is so critical.
The requirement for All Purpose Allowances to be separated on the payslip yet they attract casual loading is legislated and at this stage Xero doesn't have the capability to do it - its wild. (Nor does MYOB).
Xero please implement this asap.Steph Brown supported this idea ·

Hi team, great to get your feedback and support through the idea here. We appreciate these challenges with the current functionality when setting up a casual employee. We’ve started some work around enabling Xero customers to select Employment Types such as casual. While in early stages at present we’ll keep you updated on progress for this here.

Yes - this is a huge time consuming process. MYOB has this option and it is the only thing we really miss. They do their entire onboarding process including TFN, Super etc themselves.
Please don't make this as part of 'XeroMe' though!!
