    Having payslips showing correct YTD figures is critical and I'm amazed that Xero is not able to do this

    Should also be able to enter an opening balance for total gross pay (as well as taxable gross pay) as payslip will not correctly reflect YTD gross pay figures if salary sacrifice was used in previous payroll
    This could be a problem for employees using payslips to support mortgage applications etc
