Hi everyone, appreciate the continued interest and support this idea receives.
I know it's been sometime since our last update, and I understand frustration in recent comments wanting more news on where this is at.
I want to confirm our product teams still have good intentions to develop the ability to copy to a purchase order from within an invoice, however with the current option of being able to copy to from the invoice list and prioritisation of other pieces of work this isn't roadmapped just yet.
I totally get the needs here and hearing how you found this feature so useful. As soon as there's further news we'll make sure to share this with you all, here. Thanks

The lack of communication on this matter is unacceptable. The last update we received was in January 2024, and a year later, there has been no further response from your side.
This needs to be addressed immediately, as the "Copy to PO from an Invoice" function is critical for our operations. You need to find a solution and provide us with a clear update on the next steps.
Please respond as soon as possible.

In November we will not be able to use that feature again! And still no update from you!

Hello,
Could you please provide an update on this feature? The discontinuation of classic invoicing is imminent, and we urgently require this functionality (copy to PO from an invoice!). It is unacceptable that we have received no updates since January 2024. We need an answer immediately.

Why is this feature available on the quote and not on the actual invoice? Who will use that feature on a quote!!!

Hello,
Could you please implement the feature from the classic invoicing system that allows copying purchase orders from an invoice and includes a clickable trail? The absence of this feature significantly impacts our workflow and hinders our ability to work efficiently.

The recent changes to the PO creation process in Xero have made it inefficient. Having to go back to the invoice page, find the correct invoice, and restart the process every time is frustrating, especially with multiple suppliers and long lists of goods. This update has slowed things down instead of improving efficiency. Please consider refining the process to reduce unnecessary steps or go back to the old version, which was way better.
