Hi community, there was a brief window in which users were able to unintentionally code line items to CIS codes. However, there is more complexity in calculations for CIS and work that's needed to reflect this appropriately.
Thanks for starting an idea in this, we'll begin to track the appetite as a possibility for future work.Tamara Chapman supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment -

Hi everyone, we appreciate the need for our customers that send invoices in foreign currency to be able to edit the exchange rate within new invoicing.
Our product team are working on this capability at present and we hope to have it with you all in the coming weeks.

It would be good to see the FX rate rather than having to add another step and go to xe.com to get a rate

Appreciate wanting this feature if the line is unique, Melanie. However, if the lines are for items you regularly buy or sell, perhaps you could set up untracked inventory items to be able to quickly select and fill fields of your invoices and bills?

This was a real time saver - please can we get something like that in Xero
Allow for CIS on quotes. At present you cannot select the CIS labour sales nominal on a quote so you cannot send out a quote with CIS on it.
1 - the quote does not show the CIS
2 - when you convert the quote the nominal code needs to be change to CIS labour
