Great news team, work has been moving along well and I'm pleased to share our teams are developing the ability for employees to self-onboard by entering their own onboarding details within Xero Payroll in Australia.
We appreciate the extra admin and time this will take back for Payroll admins to be able to focus on the more critical payroll tasks. Currently in testing with a small group of users, I look forward to coming back with more details as we progress to release.

Please introduce an employee onboarding feature so that information critical to the employee setup like superannuation fund details, DOB and bank account details via a secure online portal (Xero Me) as well as the TFN declaration. I understand that this feature is available on other platforms. As my clients expand their own businesses onboarding new employees for them is currently not reliable as the employee may not provide all of this information together OR it is provided in a manner which does not meet data security standards for this type of information.

I need this for my practice. It is a point of confusion and debate amongst staff on how best to record a client who:
1. Prefers to be called by their middle name, or something else entirely
2. Clients of non-English speaking background who have adopted nicknames
3. Clients of non-English speaking background where we want to show a Phonics-style pronunciation of their name
