    Thanks for continuing to follow along and join in the support of this idea, community. To reiterate on our last update we appreciate and understand the need in being able to easily view an employees' leave balances when reviewing leave.

    As already spotted from comments here, I'd like to share an update with the release of projected leave balances in Xero Payroll Australia. This feature has just been rolled out to Payroll admins, where you'll be able to view an employees estimated leave balance when adding, editing or approving leave. You'll be able to view a calculation breakdown and will see a warning when a leave request may result in a negative balance. Helping you to better assess and manage leave for your organisation. 😁

    I agree with all below comments and particularly with Marcia. This a very critical function that xero should built in.
    01. Negative Leave balances should be flagged to the approver.
    02. Future leave balance forecast should be available, factoring all leave taken, applied to take and projected leave accruals.
