It is an important to disable the ability to approve your own leave requests. You should not ever have the option of approving your own leave. It is a constant education piece to have to remind employees that they have to manually select the correct line manager to approve their leave. Even Managers with the responsibility of approving their employee's leave requests should not have the ability to approve their own leave requests.
