    Hi team, we appreciate the interest in this idea and how having a record of changes to a users permissions would be helpful as an audit in your Xero organisation.

    While this history event isn't in our immediate plans, we are closely considering how and what changes we record history for as we continue to develop parts of Xero.

    For the time being we are continuing to keep a watchful eye on the support in this here, and I will make sure to share if there is any news of this for you all here.

    Auditing standards require us to check the appropriateness of user roles within an organisation over time. We are unable to meet the auditing standard requirements in ISA 315R with the current functionality. Surely this information is logged somewhere in the database, so I would imagine its just a matter of buliding a report to summary and present it.
