Appreciate raising the idea here, Mona

With improvements to XeroMe our intention is to make it simpler for employees to self enter this sort of information.

Is there a particular reason why you'd prefer not to use this function? Would be good to be able to share this back with our team or perhaps there's another idea I could be connecting you in with here

Our organisation relies on a third party GPS system for creating the data for each employees timesheet, then we have an Enterprise Agreement that enforces other minimum hour rules, so currently we export data from the GPS system integrate it with the EA rules in an excel spreadsheet with a lot of macros and VBA scripts, pretty it up and email directly out of excel via .pdf to each employee (well over 100).

We are moving from MYOB to Xero and I was hoping that after the move we would be able to bring the data from the excel spreadsheet directly into timesheets in Xero so there was no human interference, less chance of mistakes. It would appear this is not the case and I would be back to the same as in MYOB manually entering the total number of hours for the fortnight. Am I right?

I would support any plan to allow importing of excel spreadsheets into Xero payroll. This would assist us immensely.

We have no ability to have employees us an mobile app at all ever.
