    Hi team, I’m back again as the ability to accept deposits with Stripe has been released to the majority of regions (UK, US, NZ, AU SG, and CA) with sights set to get this to 100% asap.

    Additionally to the feature we first rolled out, we've now added a due date field that allows you to set a specific date you expect payment of the deposit to be received and will be visible when sent to your customer.

    Thanks again for your involvement in the idea here and helping us evolve Xero to better suit the needs of our customers.

    I've been a user now for roughly 8 months and initiated this request almost immediately upon realizing the limitation. More customers are processing payments using Zelle, etc. to avoid fees and can't make a full payment all at once.

    This is becoming more acute and Xero would be wise to address their user community. Seems like a lay-up!

    Would be very convenient to able to collect a deposit on a job. We require 50% down and currently require two steps to collect the deposit and then the final amount due. Seems like an awful waste of time a leaves room for error.
