Hi team, we appreciate the on-going support and feedback we're receiving on this idea and pleased to be able to share this update. Our product team are actively exploring how we can best solve for the needs raised here, although at this time are unable to provide any set timeframes.

They are very much aware of the appetite from our community on this, and as part of their exploration have reached out some users here as they gather insights.

For the time being we'll shift to In discovery and I'll return as soon as there is more on this to share.

This functionality is not a feature or an enhancement, it’s a basic function of any system that purports to be secure in today’s SaaS market.

Based on the amount of time this is taking, I can only surmise that that Xero’s development team are overstretched and being told to concentrate on coding items that increase revenue. Please Xero, keep your existing customer base happy and less likely to migrate to something else. The response of “We are looking into this and have other priorities” is standard corporate rhetoric, the effect of which is to kick the can down the road and get it off of someone’s desk for a while.

If other companies are making money by selling solutions to gaps in your product, it’s an opportunity for you.

For me, this should be a critical part of the system.

A fair number of Xero users wouldn't even know that the reason their invoices / statements are hitting recipients' junk folders is down to SPF/DMARC/DKIM.

For that reason, I would say that gauging user interest here won't help, because most users won't know what they need. It's only those "in the know" who would end up on this forum post.

Prioritising this in the development cycle would be very helpful, for Xero themselves as much as their customers.
