Hi everyone, thank you for sharing how the current tracking limits impact your reporting and tracking of different aspects of your business and processes. We know this is an important capability.

We’re exploring how we might tackle the needs in this idea and enhance Tracking Categories for the future.

While we can't commit to developments at this stage, we want you to know we hear the support and feedback from our community on this.

We’ll provide another update as the direction for this feature becomes clearer.

Hi team, we appreciate the appetite in this idea for being able to add more tracking categories to suit the needs of eInvioicing in Malaysia. We want to be open that while we have improvements planned for eInvoicing in Malaysia, increasing tracking categories isn't in our plans right now.

I understand some in the conversation here may already be doing this however to highlight for others - Right now, if you use a Tracking category for this purpose you can also look to add a default tracking to a contacts record which may help with auto assigning these codes for customers you trade with frequently.

We will continue to watch the interest through this idea closely, and share if there are any updates.

    Hi Xero Team,

With the implementation of e-Invoicing in Malaysia, we understand that Xero has updated the product to help users comply with this requirement in Malaysia.

It is also our understanding that MyInvoisClassification requires its own tracking category for the default values to be populated from Invoici. However, Xero only allows a maximum of 2 tracking categories and these are already in use.

Complying with LHDN's e-invoicing requirements is critical to our business. We kindly ask that Xero considers the need to add an available tracking category as a priority to help their Malaysian customers stay compliant with the requirements.

    Thank you.
