We hear you team! Thank you for continuing to share back with us here, and a big thanks to those that registered interest and provided input to the teams earlier research.

Right now, there's still some discovery going on around this functionality, but I want to assure you this is a feature our team are keen to develop.

While the first round of research helped inform our team they want to dive deeper into some of the aspects surrounding this feature that'll help ensure we create a solution that'll best fit majority of businesses.

We'd like to give provide the opportunity to everyone here to participate in this and if you can spare a few minutes, our team have prepared a few questions in this form 📝 that we'd love your feedback on.

Just had a notification to say that the costs are going up again.

Great to see costs increasing regularly when basic, fairly fundamental features remain completely absent.

Any chance of an update on this?

    Still waiting for this...

It's frustrating to watch XERO roll out AI features, UI refreshes, and price increases while core functionality remains broken or missing. I'd trade a modern interface for reliable, working basics any day.

Not sure these posts go anywhere...but at least it's on record. Clearly not alone in feeling this way.

I just find it amazing that Xero completely ignore comments made here for features (actually...it doesn't surprise me if you think about it).

All Xero and most other SaaS companies are now focused on seemingly locking in users and then gradually increasing the subscription over time to see where they can get to. All the while, the actual services offered and support go down in real terms.

I completely agree with the AI bot JAX...anything we seem to ask it to do, it cannot manage, then the things it can do aren't really any quicker than looking it up.

We have seen the same thing happen with our inventory system, prices have rocketed and yet the actual offering gets less and less.

Last update was 2 years ago to say 'we have plans for modernising this space soon we cannot commit to any new developments for Statements until this work has been complete. Once this has been done I'll round back to the idea here when we can reset the objectives.'

    Where is the real progress?

This is a basic accounting function for most business and should be integrated within the system.

Come on, this should be sorted by now...maybe less time on cosmetic changes and more time on real functional changes!

Being able to automate the send of customer statements is high on our product teams radar, however we want to be transparent that this isn't planned in the short term.

The above doesn't really seem like that's the case? It cannot be a priority when it's been asked for for more than 3 years, but still nowhere near being done.

Thanks everyone for your feedback on the invoice print option. We know how much our customers value efficient workflows, and appreciate you sharing your thoughts on how the current "Print PDF" button works.

For those of you looking for a smoother printing experience, a helpful workaround is to set your browser to automatically open PDFs in your preferred viewer after downloading. This can save you a few clicks in the process.

In the interest of transparency, a direct print PDF functionality that go through the download step isn't in our development plans.

You can continue to vote on this idea so if our position changes in the future we will update you all, here.
