i am looking to move companies over from QB however there are simple items that would make the move inefficient.
I have clients with Customers that have multiple branches and delivery locations but all invoices go to the headquarters. So when we print statements we can generate one statement for the whole group.
In addition with payments are made from the one parent company it can be applied to any of the "sub" locations. No need to break the payment up and reenter it multiple times to record a payment.
Another client has customers that have "jobs" being run as sub customers so they can cost each job out and follow it yet all invoices go to the same customer.
Why this is not present I cannot fathom as it would be such a time saver.
Also why the chart of accounts does not have sub-account capability is another brain puzzle. I don't have a single client that does not utilize sub-accounts for better reporting
