   Hi team, we get how useful it'd be to add a task or reminder in Xero and see it again the next time you log in.

   We've just released custom Tasks to the Homepage Tasks widget so you can capture work that Xero doesn’t create tasks for automatically.

   Simply use the 'New Task' button in the Tasks widget, or the '+' icon in the widget once typed, to create a one-off task. You can then edit, mark it complete, delete it or view completed tasks.

   At a glance you'll be able to get a view of the things you need to follow-up, and help you track progress within Xero. ✅

   Any user in your organisation with Standard or Adviser access will be able to make use of this tool for their personal organisation.

   We appreciate your inputs and helping us understand how tasks could be more meaningful for your workflows.

   Understanding there is also appetite here for recurring tasks, and task assignment we'll leave this idea open to continue considering in future enhancements. I'll be sure to update if there's further news.
