    I can't believe this has been a request for several years now on multiple threads/forums and still no response or action from Xero.
    It's a very simple request, an automated internal document number/reference on bills - critical for reports/cross referencing and would save my businesses a lot of time and faff having to input all the the data into other programmes such as excel spreadsheets just to assign an internal reference number.
