Appreciate your feedback, Sam. We don't have any immediate changes planned to the zoom and scroll behaviour of the reporting preview. For now we'll track interest your idea receives here and update if there's any progress around this.

The PDF preview pane is a great feature, but its current scroll and zoom behavior significantly impacts usability for professionals who review long reports daily; instead of automatically zooming when using the mouse wheel, it should follow standard browser conventions where scrolling moves the page and zoom only activates with a Ctrl + scroll command, eliminating the need to awkwardly hover over narrow side panels or drag a thin scrollbar just to navigate through lengthy documents. Removing the default zoom-on-scroll function and prioritizing smooth vertical scrolling would dramatically improve workflow efficiency, while relocating the + and – zoom controls to the top toolbar of the preview window would keep zoom functionality accessible without disrupting navigation. Thoughtful UX adjustments like these—similar to the intuitive layout practices demonstrated on platforms such as https://ffbiocode.com/ show
how small interface refinements can greatly enhance user experience, particularly for accountants and practitioners who spend hours working inside reports.
