Hi everyone, thanks for your continued feedback and we appreciate you sharing your sentiment here. We’re continuing to evolve the Homepage experience to better meet more of our customers’ needs, and your input is a big part of shaping those improvements.
One of the strongest themes in the feedback has been widget sizing. We’ve now released resize options for the Tasks, Invoices owed to you, Bills to pay, and Net profit and loss widgets, in addition to the Chart of accounts watchlist and Cash in and out widgets.
For the small size Invoices owed to you and Bills to pay widgets, once you’ve saved your Homepage, you’ll also see an option to toggle the chart on or off if you’d prefer to focus just on the figures.
There’s more updates in the works, and I’ll keep sharing further updates with you here.

Hi everyone, we appreciate the attention this idea has been getting. It's really good to hear how we can continue to improve the Homepage for our differing customers needs. We understand not all the widgets maybe useful to every user, and the 'Edit homepage' button will let you add or remove widgets to reduce what you see on the Homepage.
Taking on board feedback we're looking at the sizing of widgets and you'll find the 'Chart of Accounts' and 'Cash in and out' widgets are now smaller by default with an option to 'Make larger' - You can follow further updates for this on the idea here.
We have plans to dig deeper into possible 'view' options (like the different levels of views being asked here) in the new year and I'll share further updates here when this gets picked up. 🙂

Hi community, we'd like to share an update as we've released new size options for a few more widgets. In addition to the Chart of accounts watchlist and Cash in and out you now have the option to Resize the following widgets;
- Tasks
- Net profit or loss
- Bills to pay
- Invoices owed to you
Along with this release, once the Homepage is saved and when the Small option is selected for either Bills to pay, or Invoices owed to you widgets, there'll be the option to toggle the chart on or off from the Homepage.
We'll be extending Resize out to more widgets soon, so I'll continue to keep you updated here.

I dislike the new homepage.
I run 7 Xero files.
On the companies that only have 2 bank accounts it is ok and I just remove the widgets that you don't require on a home page like the chart of accounts and recent payments screen. On a daily basis that isn't required and you will see the recent payments as you reconcile the account daily.
For our bigger files that have many bank accounts, forgein bank accounts, credit card accounts and term deposits - it is so so bad. The visual clutter and the unability to resize alot of these just makes it a really bad interface.
Personally not a fan. Remove the things you don't need on a homepage that isn't needed here to help with trying to down size the clutter.
