Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to explain how important this functionality is to upload files to leave requests.
We're currently exploring ideas to attach files to employee records, however our product team confirmed that attaching files directly into leave requests is not something we're focusing on at the time. We’ve moved this idea to Not in pipeline.
We know this isn't the update you were hoping for, but we want to be transparent about where things stand. The idea remains open for votes, so we'll continue monitoring community interest and feedback as we plan for the future.

Hi there, as part of our ongoing review process, we’re in the process of updating our idea statuses to better track Xero Product Ideas.
We’ve taken another look at this idea. Whilst we can see the value for payroll administrators to be able to view the payslip in PDF from within the Employee’s record, this update doesn’t currently fit into our product team’s road map. We’ll move this idea to a status of Accepted and will continue to review this in future planning.

Employee Files - Be able to add documents to a leave transaction (i.e Medical Certificates or Leave Request Forms)
This would be great to have in each employee leave request as well as a dedicated documents file for each employee for keeping track of records for things like; Resignation Letters, Medical certificates, Leave Requests for anything related to specific employees for a 'all in one place' archive of employee data.
