    Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on allowing authorised employees to approve timesheets. We appreciate you sharing how having managers approve timesheets without full payroll access could help streamline processes.

    Our product team is currently exploring more granular permission levels in payroll, so we’ve moved the idea to Accepted.

    Although this isn't currently on the roadmap, we'll keep you updated as things progress. Thanks for your continued input.

    It’s disappointing to see this request raised repeatedly over the years with no progress or roadmap indication. This shouldn’t be a complex change, especially since permissions already exist for leave approval and would follow the same structure. Businesses that don’t want to use it wouldn’t be affected, while those that desperately need it finally could.
    When will NZ get this feature? How can we escalate this to get it prioritised and delivered? This is an essential operational requirement, not a nice‑to‑have.
