Thanks for sharing your feedback on having timesheet reporting in UK payroll.
Our product team are actively working on improving UK reporting in general, but timesheet reports aren’t currently on the roadmap.
We'll update this to Not in Pipeline, however we'll update you here if anything changes in this space.

Dear Xero Team,
I would like to suggest an improvement to Xero’s payroll/time recording functionality.
It would be extremely useful if employees could record their working hours using clear start and finish times, rather than relying on the current method of entering total hours worked. The current approach feels quite basic and can easily lead to mistakes, especially for small businesses trying to manage staff hours accurately.
With Xero subscription costs increasing year on year, and with more businesses being encouraged or required by government initiatives to use digital software solutions, I believe it is important that Xero continues to develop practical features that small businesses genuinely need.
For many businesses, accurate time recording is essential for payroll, cost control, job costing, and compliance. A simple clock-in/clock-out or start-and-finish time feature would make the system far more useful and reduce the risk of errors.
I hope this is something Xero will consider implementing soon, as it would provide real value to small businesses using the platform.
