Hi everyone, we appreciate wanting the ability to assign files to the project itself. While this isn't something we have planned right now we'll keep tracking the interest through the idea here.
To highlight, though not currently available on the Project directly, it's possible to attach files to the individual transactions within a project e.g a Bill, Invoice, Spend money or Expense. i
Along with this, you may also find it useful to create folders within your Files library where you can collect all files related to a specific project for ease of reference.
Understand this isn't the ideal solution, but may help some for now 🙂

Just had to move a job back to Tradify as couldn't attach the plans to project in XERO. Disappointing as a very small change, very helpful feature.

Be great if you can apply a % markup to the Estimated expense,and all the expenses assigned to this Estimate, then have same % applied. OR at least those expenses that don't have a % markup already applied, then default to the Estimated expense markup. VERY timeconsuming to enter on all expenses individually, especially when you can enter the % on the Estimate (and it just doesn't do anything...)_. Not really a suggestion, think this is a bug. M

Please allow % markup on Estimated Expense to apply to all expenses in that Estimate. It's is timeconsuming and cumbersome to have to go into each individual expense and assign the % markup

Hi Lisa, thanks for your engagement and letting us know the changes that matter to you in Xero Projects.
We've reviewed your idea to be able to select multiple unassigned expenses and assign them to an estimated expense at once, and it can now gain support from other community members.
Along with votes, others can now comment to share additional detail about how this bulk-assignment feature could improve their experience and make managing project expenses more efficient.🙂

it already does this. Just select all the unassigned expenses, then click on the 'Track to expense' down the bottom.
I agree, very simple fix.
I manage multiple companies and have been moving a lot of jobs to XERO projects, mainly because I use the reporting/xl functions, but not being able to have plans / drawings attached, or contracts, makes it a difficult choice of whether to stay with Tradify or similar packages that allow the workers to access latest plans, diagrams, and to attach photos etc. These functions are very important for workers in the field, and project management in general.
