Appreciate this was 4 years ago now but I'd like to bump this suggestion.
When processing yearend accounts it can be difficult to find any changes which have happened in the PY. Adding a date raised column would alleviate this somewhat.
I understand we can lock Xero to certain date etc but clients aren't always the best at following the rules
