Hey everyone, we know it can be tricky when you're managing lots of client accounts and need a way to easily tell them apart in Xero.
Thanks for your feedback on how a visual cue, like being able to set different colours for each organisation, would help cut down on confusion and those accidental data entries.
We've seen some of you have found workarounds, like using Chrome extensions or third-party Google add-ons for customisation. It's great to see the community finding creative ways to tackle this in the interim.
Right now, adding this feature isn't in our immediate plans. This is something we'll continue to keep an eye on the support for and may reconsider in future planning. I'll share if there are any updates around this here.

Thanks for your suggestion, Karin. Appreciate there are different ways customers find the homepage would work best for them.
We'll track the interest in being able to colour code cards from your idea here. This isn't something we have plans for atm, but I'll be sure to share if there are any updates.

First off, thank you for building a platform that makes multi-entity accounting so smooth.
As our business has grown, our team frequently manages and toggles between multiple Xero organizations throughout the day (specifically across Canadian and US entities). Because the core interface layout remains identical between organizations, it is very easy to inadvertently process a transaction or post an entry in the wrong entity before catching the small organization name header in the top-left corner.
To streamline multi-organization workflows and reduce operational error, we would love to request a visual indicator or custom color-theme setting per organization.
A few potential implementation ideas that would make a huge difference:
Custom Accent/Header Colors: Allowing admins to assign a distinct top header background color or banner accent to each organization (e.g., Red for CAD entity, Blue for US entity).
Custom Themes: A simple setting under Organization Details or User Preferences to set a primary UI theme color per account.
This small visual distinction that is always visible would significantly improve speed, reduce cognitive friction when switching contexts multiple times a day, and prevent costly mispostings across separate legal entities.
