    Hi everyone, thanks for continuing to share your feedback and explain how important it is to be able to add dates to individual line items on invoices.

    While this specific idea isn't directly in our pipeline at present, we're looking more broadly at how we may extend documents to better suit more of our customers' needs. We'll be taking this idea into close consideration as part of that work.

    For now, as noted in my last update the best option to accommodate this in lieu of a direct field is to add the detail to the Description field of the line.

    Further to added date column we need to be able to add extra columns for inputs such as purchase orders, delivery docket numbers and the like. This simplifies data entry when entering large amounts of info on to one invoice. We can create the template we are after but when up loaded to use the template we can't input the information. Other accounting software has this ability, not sure why Xero has never managed to, or found it necessary to have this option available. Have attached a template of something like what we would like to be able to use in our business for reference
