    Thanks for your comments and emphasis on the bills side of things for the idea here. I've made sure this is shared with our team in this space.

    Bills is an area we're continuing to develop with building on beautiful and I'll be sure to let you know here if there's any consideration made to change behaviour of this through the bills add and edit flow.

    Most comments here are asking for the same feature: automatically updating the purchase price based on the latest bill. Quite a few also want the option to update the sale price using a set margin, as not everyone adjusts pricing on every bill.

    Since Xero hasn't commented on this since 2023, I'm considering building a small app for it via the Xero API. Two questions before I start:

    1. Do your bill line items usually include item codes (whether entered manually, via POs, or through Dext)?
    2. Would you want prices to update automatically, or would you prefer a review stage where you approve proposed changes first?
