    Hi team, we've just launched passkeys to our first group of users. From this week, Xero Me app users who haven't set up MFA yet will be able to use passkeys to log into Xero. Next, we'll be progressively rolling this out to more users over the coming months. We look forward to and welcome your feedback here. As we have more news on the rollout I'll share with you on this idea.

    As an Australian small business owner and IT service provider, I'd strongly encourage Xero to prioritise passkeys for standard accounting users.

    The repeated MFA prompts and unreliable 24-hour trusted-device setting create unnecessary friction.

    Passkeys using FIDO2/WebAuthn, particularly through Windows Hello, would provide stronger phishing-resistant authentication and a far better user experience.

    Given that passkeys were introduced for Xero Me in February 2025, could Xero please provide an updated timeline for rolling this out to standard Accounting users?
