    Gotcha, thanks for rounding back, Kieran. Get where you're coming from especially if you often update or add accounts. 

    We don't have any immediate plans around this but we'll keep an eye out and let you know if there's any plans to change, here.

    I have only just started using Xero and liked the why the Chart of Accounts uses numbering. However, after producing a custom P&L and using numbers to select accounts range, the report totally ignores the numbering and reverts to alphabetical. So as a new user, what is the point of numbering accounts ?
    I notice that previous comments were listed in 2023, so am I missing a fix or work around now that it is October 2026. Thank you for any help advice.
