  1. Why is the next bill feature no longer available in bill preview?
    The bill preview is a great feature in awaiting bills, allowing you to view the bill and xero transaction at the same time, before you schedule a bill for payment. There were up and down arrows allowing you to move through all the bill transactions & their respective invoice/s that were awaiting payment.

    However, in the last week it is no longer available. You have to keep clicking in and out of each bill to preview. Its time consuming. Can we please have this feature back?

  2. I would like easier access for entering multiple spend money transactions with a preview screen

    I suggest either;

    1) a separate email to send spend money receipts to like bills have; or

    2) when entering spend money transaction, after clicking save and add another, allow the preview pane to be available after attaching a file so you can still see the details of the receipt when entering (just like the preview is there when you enter a spend money from the files section) otherwise you have to go out of spend money and back to files just so you have…

In the "New version of Invoicing" disappeared an amazing function - when you open an invoice after it has been approved, it always displays as tax exclusive, even if you entered it as tax inclusive. In the new version if you approved an invoice tax inclusive it ONLY shows it as tax inclusive. Can you please add the feature of seeing both versions of the same invoice.
    And another feature that disappeared in the new version is to see account number, not just the name of the account. Can you add it back too? And move it back to the…

  5. When looking at the notes of a batch payment, it says "remittance advice emails were sent to 16 suppliers" - but I can't see anywhere that will tell me which 16 suppliers & which email addresses they were sent to. It would be great if I could see that.

  6. I would like to be able to see sales totals on a simple table on the Xero app. I simply wish to see monthly sales totals as well as year totals per selected year. This helps me to get a quick snapshot of how my sales are increasing or decreasing, and also to view sales trends by month.

    Thanks for submitting your idea on Xero Product Idea's, Domenico. As you may have seen there is the Total Cash In and Out graph on the dashboard of the app. The dark blue bars show the total amount of cash that’s come into your bank account per month, and the light blue bars show the cash that’s gone out. 

    Appreciate there's no way to show this only based on invoices, or for a year view atm.

  7. New invoicing - option to remove existing columns and adjust their sizing.

    You had this option before the latest release, why did you remove it...

  8. Could the Accounts Watchlist feature have an option to have user specific watchlists? The accounts I want to pay close attention to as Head of Finance is different to what the Finance Assistant wants to see. Not all accounts are organisation wide specific.

  9. Hi, I would like to be able to complete quotes correctly please. So for example, QU-6767 was accepted by the customer. The customer later decided that only one line of the quote was required, which was invoiced. I would now like to mark the remaining part of the quote as declined.

    It would therefore be helpful to have more options for the quotes system, to be able to mark the quote as partially invoiced and the remaining as declined, even after the quote has been accepted.

    I create monthly reports of accepted, declined and invoiced quotes. It would be helpful…

  10. Once a Purchase Order is created it would be great if there was a feature to allow you to mark the PO as delivered. Currently there is no way to see what ones are complete and what ones are still outstanding. This may need to be extended to allow individual line items on a PO to be able to be marked as delivered.

  11. The repsonse to my support case was to be told to post the bug here... seems a weird request, but sure...
    "The best way to get our product team to consider this would be to create a new product Idea on this, which is submitted to our product team who then go ahead and make changed based in priority."

    The santander batch file does not follow the santander format. In the past Santander used to accept the file anyway but they have now started rejecting it.

    Hi everyone, appreciate the feedback of the layout of detail in the Billable expenses modal of new invoicing. I've made sure to share your feedback here with the team.

    To confirm, right now the date column is still included in this view however if you have a few billable expenses to assign you'll need to scroll down and then will see a horizontal scroll bar so you can scroll across to the date. Understand this isn't the most obvious atm, and I'll keep you updated here of any planned change.

  14. I regularly forget to click "assign" before "OK" when assigning a customer to a billable expense. In the attached screenshot, I've identified an expense, found the customer, and the line item is ticked. It's infuriating to have to remember to click "Assign" before "OK", when the rest of the interface is telling me that everything is all set and saved. While I try to remember to press the wretched "Assign" button first, could you please change the default so that clicking "OK" has the effect of clicking "Assign" automatically? There shouldn't be a separate "Assign" button.

  15. New Invoicing Autosave function - Does not work in Edit Mode

    When you create a new invoice the autosave function is there.
    However, if you approve an invoice and then try to edit it, then the autosave is not there and you must manually click update.
    Can you please make this feature more consistent. Either everything is autosave or not autosave. Having some aspects will create confusion and lost data

  16. What happend -
    I imported invoices with an invalid account number. When I went to review the imported invoices in draft, the new invoicing AI technology selected suggested account codes for me, almost to fast for me to notice the account code was blank

    Why this is important -
    The "review draft invoices after import" step is critical in getting it right - I should be able to review exactly what I imported to see where the mistakes are. I can see this being an issue with integrations where invoices are imported via the API

  18. Despite several separate requests on this forum, New Invoicing's email still begins with an invoice summary, unlike Classic Invoicing.

    For us, relationship and communication are more important than asking for payment so Classic Invoicing's email is perfectly set up with our message first and the invoice following.

    New Invoicing's email reverses this with the money part writ large at the top.

    Andrew Chadwick described it better than I can in the post linked below. The idea has been marked as Delivered but, respectfully, it hasn't been. His and my points still stand.

  19. You can only allocate payment on accounts to a customer ledger on Xero by clicking 'Overpayment' which is very long winded. Please can this be simplified to select the customer and then allocate straight as a 'payment on account' and then this can be allocated to the invoice once this is uploaded.

    In addition, if there is money out that gets contra'd against money received from a client, there is no way of coding this to the customer ledger.

  20. When you update the inventory selling price of an item you expect that this is reflected when a repeated invoice is generated. This is not currently the case. The price is ONLY updated when you edit the repeated invoice. Please have an option box on the repeated invoice that allows inventory price updates on generation. Currently waste hours and hours and make mistakes every time an inventory item changes price. Logged support cases about this for years but trying here now. Huge time saver.
