  1. Allow users to put in mileage claims at a nil rate per mile.
    This would allow the invoicing team to pick up mileage to charge to clients that is not claimed by operational staff: for example, where operational staff have a vehicle provided by the company.

  2. It would be useful to capture Incoterms on a contact by having a dropdown selection for them. Additionally, if this information can be carried over to the invoice screen, it would be beneficial.

    Hi Amanda, in lieu of having a direct field and selection for this in Xero perhaps an option could be to add this information to the Notes of the contacts record, or attaching as a file to the contacts record.

    Appreciate this doesn't automatically flow through to the invoice.

  3. Posting this again as admin totally missed the whole point in their response and gas lit the idea then closed the comments off like they had done something amazing.

    Yes. Of course I am aware you can send automatic reminders and that is great if everyone is paying through a payment system and is automatically captured. Yet for businesses like mine where 99% of people are small businesses and pay by bank transfer, one must still manually go and consolidate payments.   4. Currently to update an invoice date it has to be done within the individual invoice. The issue I'm having is that there is often a delay between 'drafting', 'submitting an invoice for approval', it being approved, and when it gets sent out. The invoice date doesn't auto-update at any of these stages, and I'm needing to manually update each invoice issue date before they are sent out. It's a bit of a silly time waster that could be avoided easily. It would be good to be able to select multiple invoices from 'waiting to be paid' and select a menu…

  5. Can we please have the system stop telling us that there are duplicate bills after one has been voided? Once a bill has been voided, it no longer poses a threat so why does the system still tell us that there are duplicates?

  6. Why is the next bill feature no longer available in bill preview?
    The bill preview is a great feature in awaiting bills, allowing you to view the bill and xero transaction at the same time, before you schedule a bill for payment. There were up and down arrows allowing you to move through all the bill transactions & their respective invoice/s that were awaiting payment.

    However, in the last week it is no longer available. You have to keep clicking in and out of each bill to preview. Its time consuming. Can we please have this feature back?

  7. I would like easier access for entering multiple spend money transactions with a preview screen

    I suggest either;

    1) a separate email to send spend money receipts to like bills have; or

    2) when entering spend money transaction, after clicking save and add another, allow the preview pane to be available after attaching a file so you can still see the details of the receipt when entering (just like the preview is there when you enter a spend money from the files section) otherwise you have to go out of spend money and back to files just so you have…

  8. AroFlo → Xero Integration Ignores Quantities – Every Line Shows “1” in Xero

    We use AroFlo to create purchase orders and invoices, and send them into Xero via the standard integration. In AroFlo, each line has the correct quantity, unit price, and total.
    However, when the invoice arrives in Xero:

    Every line item quantity is set to 1

    The real quantity is moved into the item description

    This breaks inventory tracking, reporting, and makes invoices misleading for our clients

  10. id love to be able to edit the reference field from the invoice tab. Also the ability to build edit the reference field from the same tab would be helpful. We use that field to know the category the sale is in. So some of our work is shipped, or its to a specific event.

  11. When looking at the notes of a batch payment, it says "remittance advice emails were sent to 16 suppliers" - but I can't see anywhere that will tell me which 16 suppliers & which email addresses they were sent to. It would be great if I could see that.

  12. In app version, when we click omn Quotes then we see 2 options to choose- numer of quotes sent & number of quotes to invoice.
    When we click on number of quotes to invoice then we see all the quotes converted to invoice. But they appear as increasing order means oldest quote on top, we should have option to change the order i.e newest quote on top.

  13. New Bill Button Changes.

    I am freaking out about changes that Xero are going to force on us within the Bills Framework.
    The Invoices framework changes have been the stuff of nightmares.

    Today I noticed the pop up about the "refresh" coming to the New Bill Button and I am freaking out because of how horrible the options are in Sales and I have double they are going to push this on us.

    Xero used to be like the Trinity Library in Ireland, though not know by all it is elegant, filled with knowledge, and awe inspiring.

  14. From the Files Inbox, there is a way to attach the file to a NEW transaction, but please allow it to be attached to an existing transaction too. This is especially useful when there are lots of files in the Inbox.

  15. I do not know about other Xero user, but I find it strange that for invoicing, we cannot handle shipping properly.
    I am a master dealer for a product. I have set-up default discount for my customers. That works great... Execpt for the incidental costs like shipping, Import/Export taxes and the like.

    When creating invoice I pull items from the product list and the discount is applied. That is good. Since Invoice do not have the ability to add shipping costs, I have to add that line manually like a new item. Automatically whether I use the preset "Shipping" product…

  16. I would like to be able to see sales totals on a simple table on the Xero app. I simply wish to see monthly sales totals as well as year totals per selected year. This helps me to get a quick snapshot of how my sales are increasing or decreasing, and also to view sales trends by month.

As you may have seen there is the Total Cash In and Out graph on the dashboard of the app. The dark blue bars show the total amount of cash that’s come into your bank account per month, and the light blue bars show the cash that’s gone out. 

    Appreciate there's no way to show this only based on invoices, or for a year view atm.

  17. When I createa new sales invoice (or copy one) I do not want to see the annoying payment options box. When I click dismiss I expect it to be dismissed for good. I do not want it reappearing when it feels like. When I see it again I get annoyed with Xero. Its reappearance is just annoying and not helpful - dismissed means forever

  18. New invoicing - option to remove existing columns and adjust their sizing.

    You had this option before the latest release, why did you remove it...
    I dont want to "Due Date" on the top, nor the "reference", nor the "online payment option"

  19. When adding products from suppliers, it would be great to be able to add multiple suppliers details on one product (to save having the same item listed multiple times with each individual suppliers codes/costs etc). For example Supplier 1: Coca Cola Cans, Code: 1234 Cost: £12.99, Supplier 2: Coca Cola Cans, Code: A1244, Cost: £19.50. Rather have Coca Cola saved twice had sections within that product for multiple suppliers.

  20. Could the Accounts Watchlist feature have an option to have user specific watchlists? The accounts I want to pay close attention to as Head of Finance is different to what the Finance Assistant wants to see. Not all accounts are organisation wide specific.
