AroFlo → Xero Integration Ignores Quantities – Every Line Shows “1” in Xero
We use AroFlo to create purchase orders and invoices, and send them into Xero via the standard integration. In AroFlo, each line has the correct quantity, unit price, and total.
However, when the invoice arrives in Xero:
Every line item quantity is set to 1
The real quantity is moved into the item description
This breaks inventory tracking, reporting, and makes invoices misleading for our clients
AroFlo support has confirmed this is a “limitation of the Xero API,” but from our research, Xero’s API does support a quantity field. It seems this is a design choice in AroFlo’s integration to avoid rounding errors.
This makes the integration far less useful for any business that relies on correct quantities.
We’re asking:
Can AroFlo update their integration to pass through the real quantities?
Can Xero make their API more tolerant to rounding so AroFlo (and other systems) can send correct data without errors?
