  2. It would be great if Analytics Plus had the option to exclude individual bills.

    For example, our business pays our BAS and PAYG from a sub account.
    We are unable to exclude this from the projection.

  4. I've been raised an issue regarding View/Print PDF on Spend Money transaction and Xero Central Stated that "At the moment, it's only possible to send a remittance advice for payments recorded on bills".

    Therefore, I would like to give a suggestion, If possible, create a features that able us as Accountant & Bookkeepers to have features to View/Print from Spend Money & Transfer money like Receive Money features have.

    This features enable us to have documentation to file and for audit purposes.

    Hi Nur Fatini, it'd be good to get more understanding from you here as it sounds like the Account Transactions report could serve the purpose or perhaps simply creating a receipt of the spend money? 

  5. Per the attached screenshot, we are utilising tracking categories to track income and expenditure for two branches of a business with one ABN. Most of the reports can be filtered between tracking categories. I can see no reason that the GST reports should not be able to be filtered by tracking category, or even the Activity Statement report. We should be able to expect this filtering for ABN branches.

  6. Supplier and customer ledger - to be able to pull a supplier/ customer ledger, instead of pulling reports per contact. This would be ideal if it can be pulled for a certain period, to see all suppliers'/ customers' opening balances, movements and closing balances per supplier/ customer, all on one document.

  7. The columns visible in Bank Statements and Account Transactions under Bank Accounts are totally different. This makes it almost impossible to search for matching transactions. Can you have default columns that can be selected? Some of the columns are only available when the statement is uploaded and I'm not sure even how useful they are.

    Hi Ann, it'd be good to understand more of the detail that you're seeing on each of these screens that is useful to you - Perhaps there's a report we can suggest that gives all that you're after? 

  8. In Xero it is possible to add notes to spend money and receive money transactions, however, this field is missing for imports. The import documentation doesn't show a notes field:

    The Description and Reference fields are intended to be from the bank statement, however, Xero has a notes function once you enter a spend or receive money. That's where I want to add a note during import.

  10. why can't we set up income allocations by %, not jnl , as every time you change something , you need to redo your jnl, update work papers etc. There must times when finals have been sent out ( Urgent) and this has been over looked
    This is a rather backwards step, esp when a trust could have 10 beneficiaries and need to do jnls ?!
    Would also affect partnerships, they would be the easiest to fix as majority would be a 50/50

  11. With the old reports you were able to run the report and then click into one of the GL codes to look at the data. There was then a link "back to P&L / Balance sheet report" which took you back. This is missing in the new report which is very time consuming as it seems you have to start again with running and customising your report.

  12. I would really like to see who raised an invoice when it shows on draft invoices page in Xero
    It is a pain opening the invoice to see this.

  13. HubDoc has etransfer option but only supports between non-asset etc accounts. We receive documents each time a transfer between bank accounts occur - or holding accounts eg: stripe payments into our transaction account. Would be great to be able to forward these to hubdoc and the transfer be recorded. Right now, its a manual transaction to be done in Xero.

  14. For when creating an re-occuring invoice, there is occasions, where invoices must be sent at specific times of the month, for example...

    • Last Day of the month
    • Every 2nd Tuesday
    • Last Thursday of the month

    The reason behind this, is because some companies who you are invoicing operate specific payment cycles, and in order for a small business to get paid within the terms of their invoice ( Late Payment Act 1998 & your own article on [ https://www.xero.com/uk/guides/invoice-payment-terms/ ] - Payments terms are getting shorter )

  15. XERO: Reporting Operating Vs. G&A Expenses in Income Statement Report
    In the current income statement report, there is no way to split single account between operating and G&A expenses as XERO does not allow tracking on rows. This will result in finalizing reports through excel sheets or the need to duplicate accounts in COA to enable report expenses separately by nature.

  16. There is a a Bug - Dashboard says under VAT Return Payment due in x days but payment was already made some days ago, properly conconciled with the exact correct amount. Xero should recognise this and not show an amount due in Dashboard which is incorrect.

  18. No idea - this was mentioned 5 years ago but the new system seems to have lost the original idea/moan.

    This is a very simple and quick one dev-wise.

    The "Purchase Order" needs to simply pull through the "customer name" and "contact number" from their profile - once you have searched for it at the bottom of the PO where it says "Delivery Address".

    Every other form uses word doc templates where you can choose your merge field name and it retrieves that information from the contact profile. Why does this form not do it?

    Hi Neil, do you have an example of the sort of report you're looking for here? The Profit & Loss report will show you both the Gross Profit, expendable activities and Net Profit, which you can drill into the figures of to view the related items that make up the figure of in the Profit & Loss? Or is it something a bit different you're looking for here?
