Payment Services Stripe Fees Reimbursement - Option to apply variable stripe surcharge
Option to apply variable stripe surcharge automatically to invoices where customers pay by credit card. Currently you can apply a set surcharge within invoice settings (for most credit cards this is 1.5% and we absorb the 20p per transaction fee). However the surcharge for international cards and premium cards is much higher. There should be the capability to charge the customer the actual amount paid in fees based on credit card used.
3 votesHey Hannah, thanks for raising this Idea with us we cant build a better product without customer input! However in this case its not possible to adjust the reimbursement fee at the point of payment option (credit card application) as the reimbursement fee is set in the Xero settings and not at the point when the customer pays. You will need to update the setting in Xero to adjust for a payment with an international or premium cards are expected (Tap to Pay). We will pass this Feedback to our Product team but its not something we are looking at currently.

GST Return Layout - Late Claim in a seperate tabThe New GST layout doesn't have a seperate tab for "Late Claims" meaning everytime I have to create a breakdown for a client I have to delete all the other transactions for income & expenses. I can see you can filter by "late claims" but we don't want to have to export and manipulate the data when sending the documents to clients.
Additionally when we do filter the dates don't filter by date because the format is 07-10-2025 instead of 07/10/2025…1 voteThanks for raising this with us Claudine. New Invoicing - Reduce screen clutter
Please reduce the amount of screen clutter. Example shown. This is pointless information and not needed. It interferes with the flow of the already terrible new invoicing. There should be an option to hide this.

Current Operation when the category search is made QWERTY appears

After reviewing this idea, we’ve moved it to Feedback status. The numeric keyboard does appear when you are entering in a number only field (quantity and price) and as many people type the name for the account code (category) the option is to switch to a numeric keyboard. Thanks again for helping us improve the app. Your feedback helps us prioritise enhancements that make data entry faster on mobile.

Reporting - Amended Reference not being updated on Account Transactions Report
Reporting - Transaction reference is amended in the account transaction. The amended reference does not pull through into the Account Transaction Report. Important if you need this if you are reporting by event. The report maintains the original reference not the amended reference.

Quotes - Webhook for Quote Accepted
It would be great to have a webhook for Quote Accepted.
Usually, when a quote gets accepted, you want things to get done via automation:
1) Create an order card
2) Create a job card
3) Perhaps create an invoiceFor this, it would be great if there were a webhook, rather than using polling, to find out whether a quote was accepted.
1 voteWe really appreciate your feedback and while a dedicated webhook for a quote being accepted isn't currently available, we want to clarify that the Quote status does get updated via an internal webhook when a customer accepts a quote. This means that when a client clicks 'Accept', the status is automatically changed in Xero. We also offer a workaround, as noted by others in the idea, to use the Quotes API to regularly check for quotes with an 'ACCEPTED' status. While a dedicated webhook isn't currently on our immediate roadmap, please know that we are always looking at ways to improve our API and integrate new features to make your experience better. We'll be sure to keep this idea in mind as we plan future API updates. Thanks again for helping us make Xero better.

Reconcile - Link to open matched item
In the Reconcile Accounts view it would be great to be able to have a link to the item you are about to reconcile - like the "more info" on the statement side of the reconcile view. Often payments appear to match but it can be hard to tell without seeing the detail on the invoices or payments that have been registered against the invoice.
5 votesHi everyone, we appreciate the feedback here. Being open this isn't something we have planned in bank reconciliation atm and not getting a lot of interest overtime we will soon remove this idea from product ideas.
While a click away, if a transaction has been matched you'll find you can click Find & match above which'll open the model and you can get a little more detail about the transaction that's been selected, or click on the transaction to open it in a new idea and inspect further.
