Client - Email storage (not related to Job)
It would be nice to be able to store all emails re a client that a NOT job specific under a Client Tab.
We are able to do for Jobs which is neat but to enable us to store general emails under the client would be good. I guess they would need a unique email address just like the job storage of emails? We have tab for Jobs, Documents etc so one for emails with an address would be nice.1 vote -
XPM - Set custom fields to show for specific client types
The ability to have certain custom fields show up for specific client types.
For example a "Rental Property" custom field only showing up on the "Individual" clients. Currently this would show up on all clients.
Given that so many different reports can be created from the custom fields, it would be extremely helpful to have only the relevant fields displayed on the relevant client type/structure.

Practice Manager | Link custom fields in Jobs & Clients
In Xero Practice Manager - The Custom fields that can appear on the Client and Job are not common data. Eg. When you update a custom field on the Job the information does not flow through to the Client page where this is also displayed. This would be very helpful for a workflow to update in both places.

Practice Manager | Client - Auto archive prospect if lead is 'lost'
If a lead has been lost, can that automatically remove the 'prospects' in XPM, or do I have to go and archive them individually?

AU Tax - Affiliate scheme for non-BAS / tax agents
Ability to become an affiliate if not a BAS agent or tax agent.
I am a chartered accountant with a finance coaching and Virtual CFO company but I am not a BAS or tax agent. I use Xero, train clients on Xero and recommend Xero to all of my clients and would recommend there was an affiliate scheme without having to be a BAS or tax agent.1 voteHi Lucy, to make sure I understand your idea here. When you say an affiliate would that be an affiliate to make use of AU Tax as a product or more broadly the Partner Program that Xero has for Practice users ?

Practice Manager | Invoicing - Sync Location and Staff Tracking to Xero
Have the ability for each user to assign their location and name against invoices in XPM to automatically track across to Xero Blue.
Currently has per job / task the function to track this but it only allows 1 selection for each.
The staff have been creating invoices in XPM then have to go into Xero blue to assign the location and staff.

Practice Manager - Incorporate My Xero
Please incorporate myxero into practice manager. at the moment there are MyXero, XeroHQ, XPM and XeroBlue all have different but similar settings, which makes thing very confusing.

NZ Tax - Add Deemed Settlor and Power of Attorney relationships
With the change in the NZ tax legislation it would be great if we could have a "deemed settlor" as a relationship which can be different to the settlor as recorded in the trust deed
Also would there be any way to include a relationship for the power of attorney - a number of clients have these and it is handy to be able to actually set them as a relationship instead of just as a contact

XPM: Include note title in new note notification
Using notifications are a great way to communicate on a job and keeping the history of the same. One frustration I have is when a new note is created I get a notification to tell me a new note has been added but I do not know what the subject of the new notification is from my on screen notification. This can be a problem as some notifications take only a few moments of my time whilst others require me to set aside a substantial amount of time, but I cant tell which it is from the on screen notification.…

Clients - Add "Other Name" as a viewable column
Regarding the newly added "Other Name" for individuals and sole traders the following:
Please add this field as a column on the screen that lists all the clients.
The reason why we are urgently asking for this is that we only use Initials + Last Names in the display name (as this works better on reports and invoices) and we have multiple individuals with the same last name (even with the same initials). If the "other name" is shown on this screen, it would make it so much easier to select the correct client to work with.

Practice Manager | My reports - Open report in report designer
When running a report from My Reports it opens first on the Report Designer page allowing you to check/change the parameters, rather than having to revert to the Report Builder and Custom Reports to do so.

Xero Practice Manager: Generate daily productivity breakdown
Timesheet. Be great if you could see a visual (graph) of your daily timesheet rather than just the time 24 hr posted list. Then you could get a visual of how long and for what hours you spent on each job, eg 8am to 9am job A, 9am to 11am job B, how long you didnt work eg lunch and it would be heaps easier to see if you had made any errors in submission of time. Even though there is the time summary graph which shows hours worked, it doesn't help troubleshoot if you think your time not correct…

NZ Tax: Support for inserting Anchor Tags to tax return

Currently, in XPM it's only possible to customise a cover page of a tax return. However, it's not possible to customise the actual return including the last page.

Being open while appreciate the ease this would create for individual users, building customisation at this level would be quite complex. Not something we have plans for at present but we'll get a sense of the interest here. 🙂

Practice Manager | Reports: Update fields to be the same value
When the report is extracted through Report Builder, the value for Title field is always under Uppercase even though it's Proper case when we first select the option on the client section.
This is causing unnecessary extra work for us to fix it manually every time we run the report.
The report should show the same value as how it's entered.
