Xero Workpapers | Customise Workpaper Status
We would like to have the ability to either customise the Status fields in the Workpapers. Or alternatively have the client Group appear next to the Organisation Name on the main Workpapers page, so we can easily see the client groups.

XPM workpapers - After document is closed, you are navigated to the prior page with original conditions.
Make it so that when the document is closed, it returns to the same page with the same selection conditions that were before working in this document?

Workpapers - Carry existing packs forward when creating new ones
The entire workpapers function is inefficient and burdensome. It would be much better to have packs carry forward when creating new packs so that you don't have to add all the notes and work papers back each time. When you roll a work paper pack, having to check & uncheck all the irrelevant sections is a waste of time that would also be alleviated by just being able to roll the prior period pack. The ability to use excel sheets with linked data to the accounts in Xero would be greatly beneficial. Another aggravating and time consuming issue is not…

Workpapers - Access task documentation in Archived Returns
In XWP when a task is archived you cannot click on the documentation tab on the task/GL level. You can only find documentation via the section at the bottom of the pack.
I think you should be able to click on the documentation on the task/GL level even when achieved so you know what documentation relates to each task/GL account without having to figure it out by looking at the documentation names (ex: if you have 5 pieces of documentation relating to 5 different GL accounts, you see them all grouped at the bottom of the pack and you don't…

UK Payroll: Include salary sacrificed contributions in direct pension filings
In XERO as at today when you set up a salary sacrificed arrangement, the amount being sacrificed by the employee will be added onto the employer's contribution and appear under the employer's field for reporting purposes.
But when you need to submit the pension report to the pension provider portal you will need to separate employee and employer contribution. It will be much easier to download the report, at least from the pension filings option, that shows all the breakdown of all information as it needs to be so it can just be uploaded in the pension provider portal without…

Purchase Orders: Generate a report on PO by item code
I would like to request that a report be designed where you can determine which purchase orders contain the "quantity on order" on a specific code. At the moment the only report you can pull is one where it shows which bills and invoices contain that code.
We work with thousands of products, and we need to find a way to determine which purchase orders have certain codes. There should be an option to pull a report based on the item code, showing what is on order (including the PO number) as well as the bills and invoices.

when editing, to review a page - PDF just that page
When editing a report in the financial statements, it would be great if there was an option to preview just that page and not the whole document. Ie if editing balance sheet , have the option to open a pdf of just that page ( but keep the whole doc on a sept PDF- so two options)
Would just be so much faster to preview the actual page I'm working on, and not having to wait for the whole document to open, than scroll/find the bal sheet1 vote -
Workpapers - Page numbering that works with auditors reports
When preparing annual financial statements and performance reports for auditors, it is important that the contents page and accountant's disclaimer report come before the statements that the auditor needs to refer to in their audit opinion, so that they report on pages 5 to 17, not 5 to 7 and 9 to 17. It causes unnecessary costs to both accountants and auditors each year to change round and get this done manually.

Notes on workpapers - Screenshots allowed
It would be useful if there was a section that allocated for notes screenshots to be incorporated into the notes on workpapers for each profit and loss and balance sheet item. This will allow for a screenshot from an email for example to be copied and pasted onto the notes section.

Workpapers - Floating 'Refresh' button as you scroll
Would be great if there was a second "Refresh from Xero" button in Xero Workpapers when preparing the workpaper pack. Idea being that the button stays constant as you scroll down the page with a large volume of accounts. This saves having to scroll back up the top of the page and scroll back to the account you were working on.

Enable feature allowing users to Hide resolved queries, so only outstanding queries are showing and user does not have to spend time locating outstanding queries to resolve.

XPM Prior year workpaper - Ability to define in another colour.
Prior year workpapers - would you be able to change colour for financial years for workpapers. I refer to prior year workpapers to complete a job. It would be helpful to have different colours for current and prior year Xero workpapers to avoid confusion when both open at once.
