Practice Manager | Add Non-Clients for use in a Relationship
In XPM at the moment a Client is either "Active" or "Archived". The relationships function could be extremely powerful if we have the ability to add a "non client" in order to use them to define a relationship. For example, at the moment we can only add directors to a company where the directors are also clients. For us it means that our relationships are on average only 50% complete as on average only 50% of the related parties are also clients with us.
We do not want to add these instances as full clients with us because it will have a huge impact on reporting and jobs are created. They only way this could word is to put add them as "Inactive" or "Suspended" or something similar .
Alternatively, could the option not be explored to use a Contact in a relationship.

This feature is absolutely vital for database integrity. Why restrict the relationships to only Clients in our list? You are only allowing us to have this data 50% complete at best! At the very least, we should be able to select a contact.

It is really annoying that you can’t have all the directors/shareholders/members etc. for an entity on their client record just because they aren’t a client themselves. We have companies with no directors and nowhere to note who the directors are. Naturally we have this information elsewhere, but since this is ‘THE’ record it should really all be available in one place. We could do it in MYOB!
