Practice Manager | Timesheets - Ability to make a custom field mandatory
Given the changes in the WFH deductions area, we have been looking at simple ways our accountants can log on their timesheets when they are WFH so that a simple report can be generated at year end to assist with their personal tax returns.
We have added the custom field to the time entry where they can specify whether they are working off premises, at the office or from home.
We have no way of making this a mandatory field and it only comes up when accessing the timesheet entry point of Dashboard -> Enter Time -> Daily
We'd love for a way for this to be an option that shows in the time drop down menu from the top ribbon, or even the weekly timesheet entry point.
Either this, or any other suggestion that allows for simple and easy data entry for our staff to use would be much appreciated, as we would like the additional record keeping obligations for the ATO to be as painless for our staff as possible.
