XPM - Expose staff billable rates in XPM API
Expose the staff billable rate on the XPM API?
The billable rate for staff timesheets/tasks aren't available for jobs until they are invoiced, and there's no way for integrations with XPM to understand the in-progress cost of a job without getting the staff billable rate... or if there's an override on the job.

As it says on the box - in the staff listing for the API, the default billing rate isn't available.
This means that the (potential) cost(/value) of a job isn't able to be calculated from an integration/automated point of view until it gets invoiced.
