  1. Currently, retrieval of PLS Reports (EFT reconciliation report for client trust payments) relies on a manual Retrieval. It would be ideal if this report could be set to automatic retrieval.

  2. It would be really helpful to receive notifications when a client pays their payrun.

    Especially for our large PAYG Withholding clients, where we send them an email of the tax withholding payable. As large PAYG Withholders only have a roughly a week to pay, an email notification would be a timer saver. As we wouldn't need to log in to check that the pay run has been paid.

  3. I learned the hard way after bulk importing 1,700 jobs on the wrong template that you could not delete those imported jobs in bulk. I spent 4 hours individually opening each job from a report and deleting.

    It would be great to use job manager to be able to select jobs (assuming they haven't got any time, costs or invoices associated with them) and delete.

  5. Sorting Draft Invoices by Job Type

    Every quarter we invoice a large amount of standard disbursement costs these all come from a particular job type.
    It would be great if we could sort by job type so we could bulk approve these invoices. Currently it looks to sort by job number. This means when I 'select all' I have to manually go through and untick the draft invoices that have another job type. I have tried to set a filter to only show text with 'Quarterly' which shows in the job type but this produces no results.

  6. Would like the ability to see Write-ons / Write-offs on the Invoices dashboard for Draft invoices to allow easier review of drafts.

    Alternatively some form of reporting that takes draft invoices into account vs billable time to see 'draft write-ons/offs'.

  8. There are client level fields for phone and fax numbers. We have not had a fax machine in the office for a number of years. and it would be more useful to have these fields nominated as landline and mobile numbers. Consideration would have to be given to how this meshes into FYIDocs and FuseSign as FuseSign has issues if the phone number field does not meet its defined parameters.

  9. It would be great if they system would not allow disbursements/ costs to be added to closed jobs.
    This can cause a lot of admin work when Xero fees are bulk imported to our clients accounts job but is then closed once the accounts have been completed. We have too ensure the job number is updated on the import each time we close a job as the system will allow bulk uploads. It would be great if an error code showed and did not allow this to occur.

  10. Keep the Xero Classic Look everyone preferred.

    The design of the Job Manager page is sadly reminiscent of an excel spreadsheet.

    One of the enjoyments of the Xero software compared to its competitors are the fresh, clean pages that make it inviting to use. The Job Manager board is missing the 'attractiveness' that has been part of Xero's signature branding.

    Specifically black text, flat checkboxes, grey cell borders and grey column headers makes it feel like an outdated 1990s program.

  12. When invoicing a job for a client that has a Billing Client I would like to able to sometimes invoice the Job Client instead of the Billing Client. Currently if there is a Billing Client exists XPM forces you to invoice the Billing Client.

I'd like a dashboard showing all clients listed under our organization with all banking details as well as in the moment bank feed status (ie: is the bank feed active, does it needs to be refreshed, has it dropped). This would enable those that have many clients under their organization to work smarter to fix bank feeds as soon as they're down without delays.

  14. The job budget is a key piece of information for all staff to have visibility. However the Budget field on a job is only visible if staff have Access Financial Data permissions. Giving Access Financial Data permissions allows staff to view and edit client billing details, edit practice subscription and export subscription. Surely, such wide ranging powers is not appropriate for ALL staff.

    Surely this permission should fall under the "Manage Jobs" permission matrix not under Finances permission matrix.

  15. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

  16. We have staff that need to see who the biller client is for a group however we do not want them being able to see staff timesheets.

  17. XPM Timesheets/Timeclock - The ability for the saved time to be ordered from the most recent time to the first time entries of the day so you can quickly see when you last entered time, as a start point. This saves a whole lot of scrolling if you have a lot of entries for the day.

  18. Timesheet view and function similar to outlook calendar. Where it shows your timesheet entries like meetings on your calendar.

    1. It would be quick and easy to identify gaps you are missing
    2. Being able to drag them to extend or reduce entries
    3. Being able to copy and paste an entry. Make for faster input.

  20. Provide an option under the client group to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group with one invoice.

    At the moment it appears this can only be done under Invoices in the Business menu. Under the client group itself, while an invoice can be created for multiple jobs for one client, you can't create a single invoice to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group.
