  2. The dividends are not sorted alphabetically in the return, although they are sorted in the prefill. Can we have the ability to sort fields included in the individual tax return worksheets, such as Item 11 Dividends, Item D5 Other work Expenses, and other similar fields.
    This will make it easier to check and compare, and it looks much more professional.

  3. why can't Xero resolve this. I assume it will be worked on to provide full functionality afterall it is common for companies to buy electric cars.

    'On the Capital Allowances screen they can claim FYAs (add the addition line and in the FYA drop down choose standard) but the amount will be included in box 705.

  5. PAYG Instalments Estimates pre-ticked

    The Print PAYG Instalments payable on the individual tax return Estimate page defaults as "No". This needs to be manually turned on, and even if the client has generated instalments it will not appear on the tax return unless manually selected. Preparers and reviewers may miss this. If it was set on as default then it would not be missed.

  6. In Xero Tax when we save the completed tax return for the client as PDF for email, is there an option to hide other sensitive information in addition to the TFN, such as date of birth, address and bank details.

    1/ For ACTIVITY STATEMENTS - xero already retrieves the bpay details. Can Xero retrieve the Auspost billpay details, and ATO PRN details for credit card payment too to be printed/esign emailed when generating the Activity statement?

    2/ For Income tax returns - for entities that have a payable result, can Xero retrieve the bpay, post billpay, and PRN details that can be printed/esign emailed along with the tax return?

    3/ and for ITR, can Xero retrieve the bpay, post billpay, and PRN details so that it can be sent along with the OoA email/print out?

  10. This can be entered in the losses area of the tax statement, but does not pull into the next years tax return so is a complete waste of time.
    Normal losses pull through but these rental ones do not.
    Please fix this issue.
    These and normal losses should pull through from IRD - we shouldn't have to enter these manually as we currently do.

  11. Once the Statutory accounts are generated more customisation options would be very helpful. The ability to add or group headings in the P&L and balance sheet would be great. Currently there is no option to show pre-tax profits in the P&L or to show more detail within certain grouped headings in the balance sheet.

  12. Have a separate tick box to include/exclude the detailed disclosure (separate from other schedules).

    We would like to be able to print schedules where required but not show all of the detail for the asset and liabilities disclosure. Allow us to select which schedules get printed with the tax return, rather than the all or nothing approach.

    Thanks for raising as an idea here, Inna. While it's not possible to delete a tax agents logo atm you could upload a blank white picture as the logo where you'd like to remove the existing. 

    We don't have any direct plans around this atm, but we'll get a sense of the interest here and let you know if there's any progress.

  18. I have recently started switching clients to the New BAS Experience - Full BAS.
    I run the Activity Statement and export it so I can check the "Transactions by Tax Rate" and make changes.
    I have noticed that when I click back on the "Summary" tab, the report does not automatically update (it does under previous BAS experience) and there is also no "Update" or "Refresh" button.
    The only way to get the report to update is to hit the refresh on the web browser.
    This is another case of removing functionality.

Recent new requirements from the ATO mean that businesses have to nominate new BAS and tax agents via ATO Online Services for Business, before the Agent can add them on their end (on ATO Client Services for Agents). This requires the tax payer to have set up MyGovID, gone into RAM and log into ATO Online Services for Business. The majority of clients have no idea how to do any of this. It would be good, if there was a way that they could nominate the Agent from Xero instead. Perhaps the linking of the Xero file to the ATO…
